Executive Director, The Hacktory Aug 2010 – present
Direct all aspects of day-to-day operations and strategic planning for Philadelphia’s first hackerspace, dedicated to integrating technology and the arts
Plan, secure funding for, and implement new long-term partnership with three other organizations to form the Department of Making + Doing
Identify and be selected for local and national speaking engagements
Develop programs and classes to welcome diversity, especially beginners and women
Develop curriculum, planning, pricing and promotion of adult and children’s classes

Apprentice UX Researcher & Designer, P’unk Ave Oct 2015 – Jan 2016
• Manage and guide research and UX aspects for a variety of client-focused web projects
• Manage client communications and schedule for first half of projects
• Balance business objectives with research and design objectives to develop tangible strategies and a clear roadmap for projects, while hitting internal billable milestones

Designer, Action Mill Sept 2011 – Dec 2014
• Participate in research, ideation, design, funding and successful launch of My Gift of Grace, “a conversation game for living and dying well”
• Planned and executed a successful Kickstarter campaign to raise over $40,000 for the initial production run of My Gift of Grace
• Contribute to client design projects: ideation, planning, facilitation, and assessment

Unknown Territory Artist Residency Apr 2012 – Dec 2015
• Completed all aspects of fundraising, planning, and execution for innovative artist residency and fellowship at The Hacktory
• Ran successful Kickstarter campaign to meet initial fundraising goal
• Recruited talented staff and advisors to shape the project
• Recruited dedicated, curious local artists without technical experience to participate as residents in 6-month residency period
• Recruited experienced, thoughtful, innovative Artist Fellows from across the US to complete 2 to 4-week fellowships to mentor local artists, and contribute to the Philly art & technology community
• Held a final exhibition with innovative new work, visited by 700+ attendees as a culmination of the residency
• Long-term results of the project include new and increased job opportunities for local artists, acceptance of their work into international art competitions, and higher profile of The Hacktory and Philadelphia’s art & tech scene
